Justice and Faith
Scripture: Acts 16:16-34 (NIV)
This Sunday our scripture is Acts 16:16-34. It begins with the young enslaved woman who is possessed of a spirit which allows her to make predictions about the future. She herself didn’t derive any benefit from this spirit. It was her owners who became at least moderately wealthy at her expense. This is a story of justice, as well as one of faithfulness.
