From Youth to Old Age
Scripture: Psalm 71:14-24 (NRSV)
Our morning psalm is a Psalm of Old Age: “So even to old age and gray hairs, O God, do not forsake me, until I proclaim your might to all generations to come.” (Psalm 71:18)
The Body of Christ needs all generations: Seasoned believers–invest in the next generation, don’t forget our young people. Young people–respect and learn from the wisdom of older generations. Together, from youth to old age, we can sing of the mighty deeds of God, who was, and who is, and who is to come!
