In a scene reminiscent of Mt. Sinai, the Holy Spirit is sent to the church fifty days after Christ’s resurrection. The living Christ’s ministry continues in the church through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit burns the Word of God not on stone tablets, but upon human hearts and minds to sing God’s praises to every tribe, tongue, and nation.
