Café Justo’s mission is to deliver the highest quality, organic, environmentally conscious, fresh roasted coffee to their customers at a price that is fair and just.
Café Justo is a grower-owned coffee cooperative based in Salvador-Urbina, in southern Chiapas, Mexico. It was founded by Presbyterian border ministry Frontera de Cristo, Lirio de los Valles Presbyterian Church, and the Agua Prieta rehab center CRREDA, to address the poverty and migration from Mexico to the US. Their goal is to employ members of the community in the production and management of a local, sustainable coffee business.
The coffee beans are harvested, cleaned, and prepared for shipping in Salvador Urbina, Chiapas. The beans are then transported to Agua Prieta, Sonora, where they are roasted, ground, and packaged for shipment to customers all over the US.
