Ecclesiastes: Play and Obey
Scripture: Ecclesiastes 5:13-20 (The Message)
If the writer of Ecclesiastes wrote hymns, his most famous hymn might be entitled, “Play and Obey, For There is No Other Way.” We’re encouraged by the The Teacher to have a carpe diem faith where we honestly face our mortality, enjoy the gifts and lot God has given us, and appreciate the simple things in life for what they are. When we do this, we’re freed to seize the day!
