GIVING
An Act of Faith and Worship
God gives us the high calling and privilege to nourish others with our first fruits—joyfully, sacrificially and generously. We give thanks to God for all the resources—spiritual, financial and physical—that support the ministry and mission of Immanuel Presbyterian Church.
How Do I Give?
We have multiple ways to make a gift to Immanuel: during the offering in worship, online, or regular mail. Giving Online is a secure and convenient method—you can make one time gifts or set up an account for regular donations. Whenever and however you decide to give, know that we appreciate your support. Your generous gifts support Immanuel’s many missions and daily operations serving the people in our community.
Why Do I Give?
We seek to be a generous community of faith, and to encourage cheerful giving in Christ’s name.
Celebrating God’s Abundance—
Luke 6:38: “Give and it will be given to you.”
Prayerful Giving—
1 Chronicles 29:13–14 (NRSV): (David prayed to God) “God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name. “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.”
Giving from the heart—
2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV): “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
God will not forget—
Hebrews 6:10 (NRSV): “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.”

Make a Pledge
Pledging is an act of faith—it is a spiritual discipline of generosity that fosters faithfulness, commitment, and responsibility. We believe that everything we have is a gift from God and that generosity is a spiritual issue of the heart.
In the Fall, we have our stewardship campaign and ask you to prayerfully consider making a pledge to Immanuel for the upcoming year. Pledging allows us to create a responsible and well-planned budget for the year so we may meet the needs of the church and maintain vital ministry programs and mission projects.
